Be it Cessna 172 plane, a helicopter or a hot-air balloon, flights over Tatras never cease to impress with the thrill and views they provide. Whatever of these three you choose, you will be professionally instructed by the aircraft crew before you even reach for the sky. Your flight will take off from the runways of Now Targ or Bialka Tatranska. During the trip to the ceiling of Podhale, you will see the picturesque landscape of Tatra Mountains, its iconic summits, valleys, rivers and manmade structures. All of there at the height optimal enough to let you discover their perfection anew.
 
The Tatra Mountains are an extensive mountain range shared between Poland and Slovakia. With their beauty defined by the famous images of Morskie Oko mountain lake, valley-surrounded trails leading to the top of Kasprowy Wierch or Giewont peaks, as well as the wild stream of Dunajec river, the region attracts millions of tourists a year. Zakopane is dubbed the capital of the Tatras, as well as the winter capital of Poland. This is the most convenient place to reach the foot of this massif if starting your journey in Krakow. The distance between these two cities means travelling southwards for two hours.
 
The sightseeing flight over the Tatras taken on the board of Cessna 172 light aircraft is available for 1 attendee or a small group of 2-3 people. The landing field is located nearby Nowy Targ – another significant city of Podhale region. The 30-minute lasting journey into the heavens over Tatras is preceded by a brief theoretical introduction into the flight safety measures. You will be given headphones to hear the instructions coming from your experienced pilot. Then, there will come the question of the day: ready to fly into the air? Open your eyes wide to see the excellent views stretching below as you are racking up more and more kilometres over the Tatras. Absorb the view of picturesque Szaflary, Bialy Dunajec and Poronin villages, beautifully located at the 247-kilometre long Dunajec river. See the shadow of your plane on the slope of Gubalowka hill, only to take a turn over Zakopane and rest your eyes at the breathtaking views of Tatrzanski National Park. The silhouettes of its high summits will provide you with an unforgettable view your camera will also love to capture! As if it was not enough of visual sensations, your flight will also let you see the scenic images of Niedzica Castle and Czorsztyn Lake, just at the heart of Pieniny Mountains. A similar programme awaits you with the helicopter flight offered in Bialka Tatrzanska. In case you do not like your views taken through any windows, feel free to enjoy a 45- to 60-minute lasting hot air balloon flight, available at the air field of Nowy Targ as well. Have a glass of champagne just over the natural marvels of Southern Poland!

  • It is possible for you to take a flight over the Tatra mountains regardless of your place of stay in Poland. Simply - inform us of where you are and what the date of your intended visit is. We will do the rest!
  • The price includes: transport (pre-arranged hotel pick-up and drop-off), admission fees to pre-selected attractions, a guide for individual tourists / small groups of visitors, the assisted flight over the Tatra Mountains.
  • The flights over Tatras are provided from dusk till dawn, 7 days a week, between April and October.
  • It is advisable that you take your sunglasses onboard of the plane.
  • Children under 4 will not be able to participate in the flight.
