The purpose of the Galicia Jewish Museum is to honor the victims of the Holocaust and to cultivate the Jewish heritage of Galicia. Permanent exhibition "Traces of memory" on the result of twelve years of artistic work. It is to commemorate 800 years of Jewish culture in Poland. Over 140 photos preserved by the founder of the museum showing the traces of Jews in Poland, that is, the traces of the future of Galicia. Also a sales exhibition of the culture of destroying culture during the Second World War.

"Foundation Museum" by Chris Schwarz, whose British photos are related to Jewish photography in Poland. Chris Schwarz was the director of the museum until his death in 2007.

The site houses related and temporary exhibitions, as well as a coffee shop. In addition, concerts, meetings with authors, lectures and workshops were organized there. The museum also has a bookstore where you can access Jewish book life and culture as well as the Holocaust and about Jewish philosophy, identity and literature.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to an underground chapel considered to be the most beautiful in the world. St. Kinga, where the artists carved a church in salt. There will be a short break there for photos and toilet.

We move further along the corridors to see, for example, an underground lake, a bark in which the world's first underground balloon flight took place, and to listen to an underground concert of classical music. At the end of the tour, we will visit the largest chamber of the mine, where, dance balls or sports events take place. At the very end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs related to the mine and ride a real mining elevator back to the surface.

While being in Krakow, it is simply worth visiting.

Then you will proceed to the place where the "Cracow under Nazi Occupation" exhibition begins, located on 3 levels of the factory. You will find the Vodka Factory Museum at 13 Fabryczna Street, within the Fabryczna City complex, housed in one of the historic buildings of the former Vodka Distillery No. 11 and later the Polmos Distillery. The Vodka Factory Museum boasts nearly 1500m2 of space, with a significant portion dedicated to an interactive exhibition. Visitors are invited to explore individually or with a guide in one of the available languages. During the approximately one and a half hour journey through the old factory, visitors encounter seven thematic halls filled with historical content, enhanced by multimedia attractions. Guests will delve into the history of vodka production technology over the centuries, production methods based on ancient recipes, and above all, the significance and nature of spirits in history, economy, and culture. The exhibition comprises seven thematic galleries, each serving as a leading narrative. These include medieval distillation apparatus, a feast in a noble court, the distillery revolution alongside industrial facilities for vodka production, a bar from the interwar period, the square in front of Vodka Distillery No. 11 along with the railway siding, an agricultural distillery, bottling and loading facilities for finished products, a wall of memories of vodkas from the times of the People's Republic of Poland, the President's office, and... a cozy cinema hall, which opens this sentimental journey into the past.

In the nineteenth century, the building that now houses the museum changed its function dramatically. The Austrians, who were then stationed in Krakow, organized a prison there. Paradoxically, the prison gained the name of a monastery located there and was known as the prison of St. Michael.

After the end of World War II, the prison was closed and the Archaeological Museum was established in its place. The biggest attraction of the museum is the statue of Światowid - a pagan god with four faces. The statue dates from the 9th and 10th centuries, and in 1848 it was excavated from the Zbrucz River.
